Well this has got to be the all time story from the streets of Brantford http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Picked up a fare yesterday, this lady had her cat with her on the way to the vet. Next thing I know she starts calling it Gordie... naturally my ears perked up as that is my name as well as that of GL.

I said " I've never heard of cat named Gordie before" She said ya, I named him after Gordon Lightfoot... LMAO

During the trip she said she got this cat not long after GL got sick and ironically her daughter works at McMaster was was directly involved in Lightfoot's care.

Just proves ya never know what you are gonna encounter on the job. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hi, Gord - it was lovely to meet you in Hamilton. It's so good to be able to put faces to names.
