No, it was recorded by Looking Glass. Somebody had an mp3 of it on Napster identified as Lightfoot and now thousands of people ask the same question.

Although, you have to admit,it does sound like something Gordon would do,lyricaly speaking. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif Musically,I think he could really doi something fresh with it if he were to cover it!
I have the Looking Glass album at home,as well as the 45 rpm and the song is also included on the 2000 Movie soundtrack of "Charlie's Angels". (Not used very effectively I feel.) http://www.corfid.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif Later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

It's a misnamed file on most peer to peer networks. I've also seen Croce's Time In A Bottle attributed to GL and Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald attributed to Johnny Horton, which is a physical impossibility. Horton died long before the song was written.

More to the point, he died long before the event happened.

Nearly everything is moved and unpacked. I still have to get Dan's bed, a bureau, and I have to decide whether or not to sell my hutch and dining room table. It's just way too big.
It's nice to be in Presque Isle. It's a small city, but much bigger than Limestone, with a lot more to do!

I have a garage. I don't have a snowblower though.
I have a healthy young son who is perfectly capable of scooping out the driveway. Supposedly, the complex manager gets up bright and early and plows the driveways, but there are probaby somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 driveways, and I doubt he gets to them all by 8AM. Hmmm. Maybe I should buy a snowblower, eh?
