I don't know of the exact whereabouts of the late Lyle, but I would imagine that about 12 hrs after Lightfoot ate him, this is where he lay. We were 24 miles north of Galkeetna along the Chiniguntha River when Lightfoot made a visit into the woods. I guess this is as close as I can pinpoint Lyle's remains.

That's not how it went. Eventhough Gord wanted to kill Lyle at the party, he couldn't because Meatloaf was there and being the animal rights activists that he is, he talked Gord out of it.
It wasn't until many years later on an ill-fated canoe trip that Gord ate Lyle. There is the complete story on this in another thread somewhere. Yes, you are correct that Gord "dumped" Lyle after he ate him. Though it wasn't until some 12 hrs later when Gord took a trip into the weeds.

Oh, I see! I guess I will have to change my interactive story!
Well O.K. then, let's see now...
First Gord went on a canoe trip... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics2/20boot.gif
Then got marooned on a rock... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/cliff.gif
Then he got really hungry... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics2/leo_jagerbijvuur.gif
Cooked up poor Lyle on the Zippo... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics5/bird18.gif http://www.smilieland.com/graphics/fire01.gif
Had him for lunch... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics2/BROODETEN.gif
And dumped him off... http://www.smilieland.com/graphics2/sanitaereanlage010.gif
That is STILL one strange story... http://www.tantriczen.com/forums/images/smilies/hmm.gif

Hey Watchman was that how it went? I have to make sure to get the facts straight here! Don't want to make Gord mad...
One of you creative guys should write a dirge for poor Lyle....
this is what hobnobbing with stars will get you...lylized.

SM, that's the short of it! He roasted Lyle over his Zippo because he had no food to eat when he was marooned in his canoe on that rock. Of course only until I rescued him.

Oh I didn't know about the rock! I will have to write that in!
Yep, wrapped his canary yellow canoe around a rock on the Nahani River in the NW Territories (according to notes in Songbook). Took all day and night to get it free. It then popped back into shape. Perhaps while he was trying to free his boat he finall just lost it? Lyle should've known to get the hell away from that...

I don't know anything about Lyle. I just thought I'd compare the 2 pictures. Both birds are pretty but the ibis is prettier. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ah, well, this thread is dedicated to Lyle and our obsessive interest in his passing (no pun intended :0 )
And yes, I can see the animation. I'm especially fond of the zippo sequence...
