brrrrrr........I'm freezing!
lol
good one...
In May 2001 Jenney and Erk and some others I thnk, had a bunch of things for all the Net People to do when they came up here for the shows that year. There was a fabulous Treasure Hunt which I didn't participate in as I had practically all the treasure in my own house!
LOL
What I didn't know was the great prizes for the winners! darn!
But one of the great things that some folks participated in was to dress up to represent a Lightfoot song title. It was so funny. I of course had no freaking idea of any of the costume/titles because I was as bad at that stuff back then as I am now. Once I was told the title it was glaringly apparent...duh.
I can't recall if I have any pics of some of the contestants -maybe Jenney or Erk can remember some of the costumes/titles....or have some pics...this album cover artwork reminded me of May 2001 at my place....almost 5 years ago! sheesh....
and I had a hard time naming many of the squares on The Fowles quilt that they displayed in my living room. Each square represented a line or title from a Lightfoot song....fabulous keepsake.

Cold On the Shoulder means anything in life that's difficult to deal with but we get through it none-the-less.
That guitar looks like it would be cold on the shoulders, the chest and belly! :D brrrrrrrrrrr!!! ;)

The winter motif looks a little strange on a warm, sunny day; but it's beautiful and very creative. Once again, well done. :)

But one of the great things that some folks participated in was to dress up to represent a Lightfoot song title. . The one that instantly comes to mind is Donnie with an ice pack strapped to her shoulder for Cold on the Shoulder. The other one I thought was so cleaver was Brian and Sue who had Tshirts printed up with things like, BA, PhD, MA, MD, etc, while wearing mittens or something for 10 degrees. Very clever. I tried really hard to come up with something that would make me look pregnant with a 12 year old boy next to me for Mother of a Minor's Child, but never could figure something out. Maybe next time!

It was so weird to meet all these new people in my home anyway and have some dressed up like a Lightfoot song....well it was even weirder!
Imagine telling my grandkids that story one day....
