Whilst enjoying my regular early morning trawl, I came across this photo from 'Rolling Stone'
At www.rollingstone.com (http://www.rollingstone.com) there is a fair amount on our man.
Type Gordon Lightfoot in the search box and it will bring up 377 results, some of which are quite interesting to those of you who have not discovered this site, enjoy http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

That picture looks similar to the one at the top of this screen. It also looks a lot like the one on his other "official" web site. (I think we're a lot mor official, becaue we actually can talk about him.) Anyhow,I think that picture almost mekes him look like he did over 30 years ago, before the long hair & lip brush! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif It may be from the photo session for "A Painter Passing Through". Vewy, vewy coowl! Borderstone sayin' I'll catch ya on the flipside of Sundown http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

We've discussed in the past that Gordon and Rolling Stone (or one of it's writers) had a falling out.
I bring this up because I checked out the new edition of the "Rolling Stone Rewcord Guide". A "HUGE" book that rates artists' LP's (CD's). In the book I notice they skip a few artists and Gordon is one of them! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/mad.gif
Not one of his albums gets mentioned in the book and I can'r see why! They are all in (CD) print at this time and are certainly worthy. Could this be because of past "ill wills"?
It amazes me they review that horrible singer Burt Bacharach's LP's but not Gord's? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/eek.gif
NSync but not Gord? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/eek.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/eek.gif
Britany Spears but not Gord???!!!! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/eek.gif Aaaaaugh! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/tongue.gif
It just ain't fair!! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/frown.gif
