I think GL should pick up this song again--I think it would be interesting with a slower, accoustic arrangement, much in the way that Eric Clapton did "Layla" unplugged.
Of course, "Saturday Clothes" is way overdue for a concert performance...

Oh, God, I would LOVE Gord to do that song! It's up there for me -- way, way up there!! I love watching that video on the CBC Archives!! mmmmmmmmm!

I remember GL played "Broken Dreams" in Minneapolis in 1984 and introduced it by saying this is as loud as we ever hope to get. I don't think I have heard him perform it since. The 1984 tour was the one where he played rhythm electric guitar on the "Salute" material.
In July 1999 (Bayfield,WI), I visited with Rick Haynes between sets outside the big top tent where they performed right off Lake Superior. I asked Rick which song did he think was his most favorite to perform and he said "Broken Dreams."
