Does anyone know if the following might ever be release on CD?

* Dream Street Rose - 1980 - WB Records
* Shadows - 1982 - WB Records
* Salute - 1983 WB Records
* Old Dan's Records - 1972 Reprise
* Two Tones at the Village Corner - 1962 Canatal Records
* The Canadian Talent Library - 1964 - Canadian talent Library

The first four have been a constant subject in this forum. Whether or not they are released on CD depends on who you ask. The interest is there. One popular school of thought is that Rhino Records may lease these tracks and re-issue them. Though I don't know for certain, I think WB has some reservations about releasing these albums on CD because their original record/tape sales were rather soft. As for the last two mentioned, GL is rather sensitive about releasing old material. One story had him buying up as many old LP's as possible and taking an axe to them on the weekend. If he owns the masters to these recordings, don't bet on them being re-issued. As for what we call "The Final Four" (albums not released in CD format) your guess is as good as anyone else's!
