What single Gord song do you think would be great to play when you get up in the morning and before you go to bed. I don't find time to play in the mornings, but when I stare at the big sunrise I find humming the tune to 'Drink Yer Glasses Empty' kind of nice. 'Too Much To Lose' might make a good ending song. 'Wherefore And Why' makes a great song to start your day. I know opinions change often on this subject, but what songs do you feel are good to start and end your day?

Can't decide on the end of the day but every morning, as the sun comes up, you will find me driving to work with Gordon singing Daylight Katy.

Playing Alberta Bound on the way to work really gets me energized for some reason. But as far as ending the day, I think I'll half to agree with you, DMD3, Too Much To Lose is a good way to end it if you've had a hard day. I'll half to play this song on the way home sometime.

I like to play "The Watchman's Gone" on the way home from work because I head west...following the golden sun!

They don't make adequate visors on cars, by the way! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well,as I said to a similar question, when I can,I start the day with a little,"Wherefore And Why". End of the day, bedtime I assume,I usually fall asleep to 3 different GL CDs,but to pick one song....have ya guessed it?? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif "The Pony Man",of course. (For those of you that knew that already. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif Later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

I just got started liking "Boss Man". I thought my CD player was starting to get disorientated when I first noticed this song(Songbook recording) but after listening to the next song I realized that it was nothing. He sure had a blast with those instruments. And anyway, I don't know why, but I seem to love playing this one song right before I leave for the bus stop.("Drink Yer Glasses Empty" is a good one to play not long after you get up, but "Boss Man" is good before you leave for the day)

DMD3,

Boss Man is an excellent choice, you'll like it even more when you're going to work. But to answer your original question I don't usually play single cuts so my first choice CD for morning is Don Quixote and the last one while falling asleep is East of Midnight. Good topic.
