I noticed recently, Soundstage re-ran the old Peter Frampton concert from the 1970's. Will they air Gordon Lightfoot's concert from the 1970's?

are you sure that wasn't a recent concert by him?
I ask because I wrote to them about rerunning the old SS shows and they specifically said the episodes from they original series were broadcast under terms or whatever it is that has long since expired therefore are unable to rerun them.
So it's probably unlikly we'll be seeing any of the classic SS shows unless you've heard otherwise.

Affair on Touhy Ave. is correct. I went on the Soundstage website, and saw that the Peter Frampton show was a recent one. Sorry for the confusion. Too bad, it would've been a hoot to see the old Soundstage about Gordon Lightfoot.

Looks like we'll have to settle for buying it on Ebay when it pops up there again. :)

Anybody brave and curious enough to have visited the Newsgroup recently at:-
http://www.newsgroup.shorturl might have norticed that yours truly has recently run into a lot of flack there for daring to suggest that since not a word had been utterred regarding the late January concerts everybody there must be asleep. Grarifyingly and suddenly a number of souls woke up and commented partly regarding the niceties of Usenet etiquette indeed our very own Jessie-Joe also got a roasting in that regard
Well at least it got folks there thinking about posting again!!
Valerie Magee chimed in yesterday by revealing that Amazon recommended to her, by email no less, that purchasers of Gord's Summertime Dream should naturally consider the esoteric appeal of a January 2007 CD release going by the catchy title of:-
"Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven"
by Godspeed You Black Emperor
http://ec2.images-amazon.com/images/P/B00004ZD69.01._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpg
in addition and coincidentally with this corfid topic the ZippoKidd Derek started a thread regarding the possible official release of the great 1979 PBS Soundstage video
Derek went on to comment "A second DVD-related comment: It turns out a lot of appearances from
Montreaux are being officially released on DVD--"
this has elicited two revealing and thoughtful replies by young Richard Harison
http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/images/Richard_Harison.jpg
who just happenned to be Gord's sound engineer at Montreux in 1976 so this thread should be of interest to all corfidians as well as Rick from Reno.

Hello, I know, because I ordered it, that they've released the Sound Stage performance from John Prine in 1980. It sure would be nice if they made a series of releases from the program.
