As everyone here knows Gord is planning on doing one more album of new material. Does anyone have a wish list for that album? Mine would be to try to bring Pee Wee Charles, Red Shea, and every other Lightfoot Alumnus into the studio for the last time. I would also like to see a string arrangement and backing vocals on all tracks. Generally, I would like to see the kind of producing that went into the albums of the 70s. Comments?

Completely agree. Lenny Waronker was/is a great producer.

Pee Wee Charles played on Painter Passing Thru, last I heard Red Shea had some health problems which would preclude him returning.
I agree I would like to hear the sound of the late 70's and early 80's as much as possible given the change in Gord's voice.
I still have No Hotel still going round in my mind, the guitar work on that by Terry kinda reminds me of Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits.
Hey there's an idea, Mark has played with every other big name from the 70's why not a session with Gord??? Now that would be a blast!

I have to agree with TheWatchman. Let's hope for the NEXT album, not the LAST. All things considered he's not that old. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
