As we are discussing illness, I'm sure there are certain songs that we all feel pick up our mood, other songs that are appropriate for reflecting on things, and so I just wanted to share my opinion on two Lightfoot songs. "You Just Gotta' Be" gets me back on my feet. There's power in the electric guitar and "Lot of people saying, what a price you been paying" makes me think of all the sacrifices I've made and I'll be damned if I'm gonna' lay down here on my back with this flu or whatever. 14-Karat Gold gets me going with my exercise and then when I've gotten that all done I sit back and wonder how the hell I got better so quickly!!!

I like the selections. Definitely a little rock guitar or driving beat would get me up and exercising...and that might be the real healer but the two together...music and exercise...I can't knock that formula. I'd pick Alberta Bound and Broken Dreams.
