Hello! I'm a newbie with a question. :) I just found out that Gordon is playing Massey Hall on May 20th - I was SO excited to hear about this! Not sure how I missed the news, but it could be due to the fact that I just moved out of town. lol. Anyway, I would love to get my hands on some tickets for my hubby for our 10th anniversary (can't think of a better way to spend the evening), but of course it is sold out. I belong to a Clay Aiken message board and the members there often post their extra tickets for sale. I was wondering this community does the same thing. Since money is a wee bit tight after the move, I hate the thought of going to a broker for them. Hope this isn't too forward for my first post! :D You've picked a wonderful artist/man to admire! Wish the world had more Gordon Lightfoots in it.

Thanks all!

There have been some tickets for sale on eBay. Jenney had some extras but I think she has turned them back in by now.

Thanks for the reply, brink. I checked out eBay, but I only saw 1 pair that are up to $155 already and there's still 2 days left. I appreciate your help!

Hi there,
I have some extra tickets which I would be happy to sell at face value -- unfortunately they are all single seats.
Thursday May 19 Row G Seat 36
Thursday May 19 Row L Seat 29

There are a couple more but I have to look up the locations...

Thanks so much for the offer, bjb. Ordinarily I would take you up it, but I think hubby would like to sit with me since it is our 10th wedding anniversary! I do appreciate your help though!

Hi Charlene,

I just checked the eBay auction. Wow! There's no way I'll be able to afford those by the time the auction is over! I wouldn't mind sitting on my own, but since hubby doesn't have a lot of concert experience, I think he would be uncomfortable on his own. The intermission sure would be fun, though. lol.

I'm beginning to think you're right about the tickets, I suppose I should start considering something else for our big night. *sniff* Darn it, I wish I had heard about the concert before! Oh well. Thanks so much for your kindness - this is a great board.

Take care!

Thanks to all who helped me out with my request. I now have tickets, so hubby and I will be seeing him for our anniversary! What a perfect way to spend it. I see the ebay auction is now up to $460 with 50 mins to go! Whoa! That's just crazy!
