"You are bidding on a very rare Original 1966 Hoot Folk Festival Magazine Volume 2 number 2 March 1966 Gordon Lightfoot Cover"
That could have fooled me
If it really is Gord it must have been from his Bill Haley aping period

there is a rare "auction"
well starting price $US99.95
of a rare copy of the 1963 Canadian Talent Library vinyl album with more detail of the cover and disk than I for one have previously seen;
If you go to:-
http://www.ebaylightfoot.notlong.com
you should quickly spot it
http://www.saturnrecords.com/auctions/Miscellaneous/lpgordonlightfoot1.jpg
Yet another rare audtion is for this poster for the 1967 post expo 67 concerts at the New Penelope showing the actual address on Sherbrooke
Street (now I fancy renamed Rue Rene Levesque in honour of the late Party Kaybeckwah leader
http://homepage.mac.com/jmac69/GarageSaleImages/GarageSale_1158450096_3140.jpg
However the Starting bid for this item is a less reasonable US$299.00

Great ebay stuff indeed, I like The New Penelope Poster. Sort of brings you back, to the 70's.

All of this is just a hoot!
Is there any way to find out if that really is Gord? Personally, I rather doubt it. I'm a printer, and occasionally we mess up. Could be a case of switched photos.
IT'S HIM -- i'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE.
GOT CUT OFF..
in other pick he is strummimg Martin guitar, and another has hime with guitar and Richie Havens.

I've seen a similar picture of Gordon somewhere but I know that's him.
Also, because I saw a film clip a long time ago of Bill Haley in the 60's,doing a show in England and he was, shall I say...hefty?
